The American Antiques Trail website is owned and operated by Tomgeo Pty Ltd, an Australian company. The Directors of Tomgeo Pty Ltd are Craig and Michelle Opie, who own and operate the coolest antiques and collectibles shop in Perth, Western Australia, called Dr Russell's Emporium. We have been in the 'trade' for over 23 years, and have recently launched the Australian Antiques Trail (www.australianantiquestrail.com.au). We decided to tap into the American market through the launch of the American Antiques Trail. Put very simply, the aim of the site is to spread the 'antiques and collectibles' good word through the most efficient means known, the internet.

As with the Australian site, the American site will take some time to create a true and lasting presence in the American marketplace. Once this important milestone is achieved, however, it will be enduring.

The first step is to have existing dealers join the site. There is no joining fee and never will be. The second step will be a targeted and on-going marketing campaign of the website itself. This campaign will increase the profile of the antiques and collectibles trade in America.
